Sleeping Beauty was very good!

I must have too much southern boy in me because I don't understand why ballet can't choreograph manly moves for men. I realize it may seem a bit harsh on some obviously talented and hardworking guys, but I simply am not impressed by a man who can out prance his female counterpart.

The dragon was a masterpiece of propmanship (is that a real word?) And the fairy godmothers were beautiful to watch. Princess Aurora was a beauty. I am no connoisseur of fine arts, but I know what I like. The story was well illustrated throughout the dance moves, and it made my wife very happy. Most of all, it is a lucky man indeed who can give his wife happiness.

I thought the use of fog for water and the boat prop were clever, but it wasn't really dancing. Yes, I liked Sleeping Beauty. North Carolinians are fortunate to have the opportunity to enjoy events such as this. And any man who can give his wife happiness is a lucky man indeed. I will attend other performances when offered.
